Perspective

Dear Lord, sometime perspective jumps up and gets all our attention. This past weekend my Dad was put in the hospital, he had a stroke, but thanks to you dear Lord he will recover. So Dad has to fight, he needs help getting on his scooter, help getting into and out of bed, he can not hear but only the loudest of sounds, he is confused allot of the time, he is frighten by noises that are only in his mind, and the list goes on and on......

My niece, one of her boys, and some family members were in Galveston crabbing this weekend. Driving down the seawall she was run off the wall into the gulf by a drug induced fool.

He was running from the law. Lord, I can only imagine the fear that was in there heart as they were launched over the edge of the seawall.

Thanks to you Lord they survived.

Lord, ....something that was so important on Friday sure might not be so much on Monday, it has everything to do with perspective.

One day we can walk and do as we please, the next we need help. One day we are having fun fishing and playing with the kids the next we are in the hospital.

Life is like a vapor here today but gone tomorrow, we are so close to disaster at all times. Lord we are truly in your hands, you are our protection.

Lord without you we are open game for the world and all its troubles and traps.

Lord thank you for protecting my family, help my Dad. Lord we pray for healing for Brandy, my niece, and her family.

Lord  we do pray for help, there is turmoil.... people are off from work, and planning is hard to do... we need your help.

Lord, I pray for the Darst family, you know what is needed. Lord may your blessing be with the Wyatt family. Lord may your blessings be with Charles Beavers.
